He threw the ball at the basketball goal and missed. I toss the ball back to him. He misses again. And again.
My 10-year-old son has been shooting free throws on our goal in the driveway. I tell him to keep his arm lined up with the goal, shoot a nice rainbow arc and snap his wrist for a good follow-through.
He keeps trying. And he keeps missing.
